Following the successful trial of prescribing 2 month supply over the Christmas period we are doing it again for a short period up to Easter.

To ensure you have enough medication over the Easter period, here is what you need to know:

Buckden and Little Paxton Surgery will be closed on:

Friday, 18^th April 2025

Monday 21^st April 2025

If you order your repeat prescription between now and 11^th April, subject to clinical decision:

You will receive 2 months of medication, if you are a dispensing patient

For non-dispensing patients, 2 monthly prescriptions will be sent to your pharmacy

This will help manage our workload during the Easter season and enable you to obtain your medication for the holiday period.

Please note:

We cannot do this for certain medications, including controlled drugs or if you are on a weekly prescription.

We will not do this if the Clinician thinks they may be a change in medication.

However, if any unexpected changes are made to your prescriptions during this period, we will dispense and/or amend as needed.
