New Telephone System
On Tuesday 28 January 2025, we are implementing our new telephone system. We are expecting little or no downtime on the day but do bear with us as we learn the new system.
Please note that all calls will be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
Please listen carefully to the options to help you get to the care you need.
We will be switching on the option for Callback. This will enable you to get on with your day without losing your place in the queue.
Other options offered by the new telephone system such as patient appointment self service will be turned on in the coming weeks post implementation.
Repeat prescriptions
We do not accept prescription requests over the phone, please request in person, by completing the repeat prescription form or by using the online repeat prescription ordering system. For more information go to www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/.
Our dispensary phone line is open between 10 am and Noon daily. Please call the main surgery number and choose the appropriate option.
Patient Triage system
Please remember our preferred method of communication is via our Patient Triage system. This is currently open from 7am daily.
You can contact us about medical, administrative, or prescription issues. Answer a few short questions and we will get back to you within 2 working days.
Requests should be sent by 15:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday or 13:00pm on Thursdays. Please ensure queries are sent as soon as possible. Please enclose photographs where possible and appropriate.
Requests cannot be sent on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) or bank holidays. Please contact 111 during out of hours or 999 if this is an emergency.
